I think I shall try and do a weekly post on a subject that allows me to discuss and think about topics and idea. Too tired right now to move on this idea but it will follow !

As the year starts I am excited at developing a set of new creative projects from the singing of new songs for Preston Guild to the major commission for Manchester Jazz Festival. Quite chilled as I sort out this new website and practice the 24 songs that I’ll sing at the Nuffield on the great date of 01.01.2012. Please put the date in your diary and come and listen !
Then there is the challenge of trying to make the ONE MAN BAND World Tour and getting onto the OLYMPIC track in LONDON.

tonight at our building we had a great time – again. downstairs ash, rachel, graham and joe made new music with 30 or so young people – 4 rooms grooving and developing music – as it does every FRIDAY
and upstairs we made TOTALLY WIRED into an amazing event. music. film. lights. words
and there was an audience – what a journey we have made.
LISBON – APEM
The gardens of the Gugenheim look beautiful through the windows of my workshop room where earlier today I worked with 40 teachers from across Portugal. And later one more session.
Speaking just now with Rian in Shanghai on Skype. I want to travel there again as soon as I can.
